Hello, everyone! I’m happy to be starting a monthly blogging spot here on the Dreamspinners Blog. For those of you who don’t know me, I’ve been publishing with Dreamspinner Press since 2011. Some authors like to publish with several houses, self-publish, or do a combination of things. As for me, I love the home for my writing I’ve found with DSP and will always be grateful for their support in making my words available to the world.
Here I am with Elizabeth North, the publisher of Dreamspinner. She is the most encouraging person ever. The funny thing is, I believe this is the first picture I have of the two of us, after all these years! We were together at the LA Festival of Books last week.
What fun it was to hang out with Elizabeth, Anne Regan, and some of the other Dreamspinner authors. Here we are with Rick Reed.
And I got to be interviewed by Jeff Adams and Will Knauss for their podcast.
Finally, here I am all gussied up and ready to meet readers at my signing.
I plan to use this blog spot as a place to share my thoughts and my writing adventures with you, and I’m excited about that! I’ve had many ups and downs with my publishing career over the years—times everything was going swimmingly and times when I was ready to quit altogether. Writing can be the most isolating of occupations. What’s kept me going are the connections I’ve made with my publishing family, with fellow writers, and with faithful readers like you.
I’d love to hear from you, so drop me a line either in the comments here or by email, Twitter, Facebook. My contact information is below.
After years of hearing characters chatting away in her head, CJane Elliott finally decided to put them on paper and hasn’t looked back since. A psychotherapist by training, CJane enjoys writing sexy, passionate stories that also explore the human psyche. CJane has traveled all over North America for work and her characters are travelers, too, traveling down into their own depths to find what they need to get to the happy ending.

Her husband and son support her writing habit by staying out of the way when they see her hunched over, staring intensely at her laptop.
